2012 National Drug and Alcohol Awards
The National Drug and Alcohol Awards are an annual event that encourage, recognise and celebrate achievements to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug use and harm in Australia.
The Awards are open to all people and organisations that work in the alcohol, other drugs and related sectors.
The Awards are a collaborative effort of the Ted Noffs Foundation (TNF), the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA), the Australian Drug Foundation (ADF) and the Australian National Council on Drugs (ANCD).
Nominations officially closed at 5pm Monday 30th April 2012.

- PM’s award
- Excellence in prevention and community education
- Excellence in treatment and support
- Excellence in research
- Excellence in services for young people
- Excellence in law enforcement
- Excellence in alcohol and other drug media reporting
- Excellence in school drug education
- Excellence in creating healthy sporting communities
Honour Roll
The Award ceremony will be held at the Plaza in Melbourne on Friday, 22 June 2012
